My son is hunting the Weiser unit for the general Elk season and I'm not going to be able make the hunt. Any help or pointers would be greatly appreciated. This will be his first time for him hunting in Idaho. Thank you for any advice in advance. Please help

I totally DIY can't afford the guides. Elk 124 has been on my list and Deer I'm wide open, maybe even 102.

So for deer I have 10 points the max available. Is there any units that you would consider using the points for a 170 class buck? For Elk I have 8 Points and looking to get a hunt with a chance at a 300 class bull. I know I'm on the edge of some drawing some good units but would love to hear...

What kind of casing are you using? Sound like a very good load.

Both of those loads look interesting. If your sighted in for 200 yards then what would your drop be at 500 yards?
