I was encouraged to see that antlerless tags for deer aren't in the book this year. Will they maintain this, or is it just a one year test run? Surely the state will see a positive impact from that single change.

Can't afford that half of the state now. As stated above most folks are moving to Elko and White Pine county. Heck if someone comes knocking on my door I would sell. Heard many stories of that happening lately.

Western part of elko county got hammered this week.

Whats strange is the unit 40 tag sat at 160ish tags for weeks only selling one now and then. Other units had a few tags that no one wanted either. I logged in just before you made this post and the entire tab for general deer was gone. I figured it was a glitch, but apparently not.

Fatrooster and I were in there last year. The prices we were told for being packed in was outrageous.

Hell yes! I personally know someone who draws a party tag every year with his wife. She doesn't hunt and turns it back in for the points. Last I checked they were around 15+ points. The issue has been addressed multiple times to close this loop hole. Glad they finally listened!

I would echo your statement at the end of the video in regards to elk numbers. After the cull Idaho did last year, the elk numbers are tanked. I've hunted there many times. This year felt like dead country. I emailed an Idaho biologist and asked a series of questions about the effects their...
