Comparing to 8 and 9 years ago when I was in these areas the numbers are down 80 percent!

All the moisture really helped that unit.

My scouting this weekend didn't yield much. 10 bucks and most young sub 24 inch. No bachelor groups like in past years just singles. Still looking somewhat skinny even with all of the food. I think most of the older rutted out worn out bucks are still out in the sage brush as a pile of bones.

I like the positive reviews and will ignore the negative ones, I need to believe that there are still nice bucks left.

I'm fine if they go back to open sights no magnification scopes there were far less hunters on the hill. Now it is essentially an early rifle hunt with the new guns and scopes.

There was a photo on facebook side by side with this one where a bull was on the exact same ledge. The photo was taken 12 years before. History repeating itself.
