Congrats on a great hunt.

I love to cut mine in small pieces and sprinkle generously with Tony Chachere's Cajun. Soak overnight in Italian Dressing. Wrap each piece in half a strip of bacon and grill to your liking.

I hunted there 2nd season last year. The weather was pretty warm and we had a hard time finding any elk sign. Got into some snow up high above Lemon lake and that's the only place we were able to get into elk.
