After calling a couple of shops in town i guess my needs were too much work for them to handle.
Finally, I found a 1911 expert who is actually a friend of a friend and he's agreed to take on my job on. Lucked out because I hear he's retired but still the best around. Thanks for the replies.

State employees don't even start thinking about work until Thursday afternoons. Then it's Friday afternoon before anything gets accomplished. We have at least 4 more days.
