I agree 100% our deer herds are hurting. And ODFW will do nothing but sell more tags. What really gets me is when ODFW says deer season will be good cause deer numbers are strong. then after the season they will blame the low harvest numbers on the weather. I could go on for hours about this...

I drew. But I also drew a snake river oregon bull tag for the same dates so I have not decided if I will take it or not. My dad had a bull tag over there last year and we did see some nice buck.

Should have posted this about a year a go. I would have given mine to you. I read about quarter of it and then burned it. Burning it was the only way I thought I might get some use out of it, and at that I still got screwed.

What I have heard is that it is a washinton bull but was taken in the weneha wilderness area which is in both oregon and washington. One of the guys in a picture I saw looked like a guy that guides for Jon Wick.

Did any of you guys see the three bulls that Wicks clints got in the wenaha unit the fall. There was a big artical in the Observer about them. The biggest was like 398 and had two drop tines and a busted off extra brow tine. it was a toad. the other two were 375ish bulls.

That desert country around baker produces some nice bucks every year. I have not heard of any this year, but I'm sure there were a few nice ones taken this year. I would love to have that rut hunt for mt emily, but I could not wait 10 years for a tag.
