Landowners get their elk LO vouchers around the first of June. When the LO receives his LO vouchers the NMG&F will put it on their site a day or two before the vouchers arrive in the mail.

The lot by Sunport should be ok ??? but there isn't a hotel in ABQ that is safe from thief?s !!! ABQ is a criminal friendly city and some of the boldest car/truck thieft rings in the country. I had my F 350 broken into close to the airport in ABQ.last year at 4 pm in the afternoon.....they were trying to steal it but the alarm started going off and they took off. I called the police and was told someone would be there in about an hour.....WTF ! The police told me ....don't leave...

Back when I had 11 points I was talking to a well known outfitter about cashing in those points on late rifle. He said there wasn?t a late rifle hunt in AZ worth that many points. His advise was , you've been putting in this long just keep putting in until you can draw a real good archery...

The weather most years is low 30's in the am and into the 60's to low 70's at mid afternoon that time of year. The wind can blow HARD at times and a storm can show up any time....been caught in my share of rain and sleet up there.... you never know about mountain weather. A lot of outfitters...
