Just looking for some recent intel if anyone has been in 061-071 recently. My wife, son and I have cow tags and been so damn busy at work haven’t been able to get away. Thinking about heading that way Friday morning. Would appreciate it.

Chuck and shedneck... how big of goats did you guys end up with? I drew the tag this year. Just curious what you killed. We have seen some big goats when deer hunting in that area

Same thing we experienced last few times we have hunted it. Plan on being there the first 5 days of the hunt. Doesn't look like much weather between now and then so the snow may not be an issue. Last deer hunt of the year so it will just be nice to be out with bow in hand one more time!

Going to head to 55 to hunt the late archery opener. Haven't hunted there in several years and was wondering how the herd was doing? Anyone hunted there lately?

Could also be tick paralysis. I had a dog get that several years ago. Called an old school vet that I knew and he thought that might be it. Sure enough found a tick buried in near her spine. Dug it out and she was up and walking in a few days.

Did you make it up scouting?

Went scouting last weekend around Eagle Lake. Saw 15-20 does and a few bucks. Nothing to write home about but I think the combination of the big moon and hot temperatures had the day time movement to a minimum. Did you make it out?

Have you been up there to look around yet? I hear there are some good bucks in the area this year, but havent had time to scout yet.
