Just put your tag and pen in a plastic bag along with some electrical tape. validate your tag put it back in the bag and tape it to the animal. System is a joke though!!

I would like to see 3-point or better also, The good thing at least when you harvest a buck it might weigh more than 90 pounds. The bad thing is there will be plenty of forked horns wasted when hunters that don't look before shooting walk up on it and keep walking when it is not a 3 point.

I hear ya 440, We have been hunting the Ukiah Unit since the mid-80's and we would see around 50 deer a day on average. Not always bucks but we were seeing deer. This year I bow hunted the Ukiah unit for 10 days. In the 10 days I saw two bucks which were right at daylight my first day hunting...
