That's what worried me about booking. If I would of had an answer on the cwmu I probably would of done it. Justin said on the hunt we were looking at 100% on 320-340 bulls. You can't really research anything without a name and or location. It was pretty damn expensive for just taking his word.

Hey guys I'm going to unit 34 from October 8-12 on a elk hunt. Just wandering what the weather is like on a normal year. Getting some new gear for my birthday. Is good rain gear a must have. Never been to NM. I've always hunted in Colorado and Utah in late October early November. Thanks

mtmuley I agree. RCBS told me if I was to have them machine the die I should be able to resize brass from both guns and it should work in my custom. I didn't do it and bought new brass and never looked back.

I have a custom 270 wsm with the same issue. I think you can send your die back to RCBS and they will machine a few thousandths off the bottom to size them further down. I just bought new brass and keep my nosler with my Brown Precision and everything else works in my dads Browning.

What about unit 34? Anyone hunt the unit public or private?
