It's possible. Lots of guys burned points the past couple years because antler growth was above average. You would have early archery for sure and that tag is good for both the east and west side. -

Tag Donation anyone?
They have a list on their wesite someplace I think - we donated to Wounded Warriors. They gave the sandhill crane tags we donated to kids of wounded or fallen service members and took them hunting, too. You must send your actual tag back with some paperwork. Or just drop it by the Game & Fish... -

Hunting This Year Burn
Yes you should be able to find animals sneaking around the edges feeding. Last year we saw two bucks feeding at the edge of a burn six weeks old. I thought they were licking burned ground for minerals but on closer inspection they found sprouts of new growth one or two inches tall. -
22 late Coues - anything left?
From the Interstate you can see the edge of the burn still has lots of cover. It's a pretty wide swath of slightly burned country. The center of the burn looks like the surface of the moon though. -
