LAST EDITED ON Mar-22-18 AT 09:13AM (MST)[p]2nd archery Elk in my first or second unit choice. I've had off-range oryx, antelope and many different muley hunts, nothing compares to hunting elk in mid September with a bow.

Anyone filmed any of their New Mexico hunts? For those that have was it worth the extra prep and work? Seems elk hunts are a good opportunity to show the challenges of hunting the backcountry.

Results of your hunt? 2nd archery tag had to be good.
