    San Rafael North Antelope Muzzy

If you start working south from Wellington, you really will be seeing goats all over.

There are a ton of goats. You won't need to hunt private.

    Roadless Bookcliffs

Good hell fellas, everybody lighten up. The snow is pretty average this year. As of yesterday it is still a good ways off from getting to the top. Typically about the end of April and I'd say we're on course to be about the same this year. Also calling the Price office would be about as much...

Lions and Bears on a Budget

I would recommend looking outside of Utah for a cat. Especially Eastern Utah. Unless you have 0 standards. Eastern Utah has been wiped out and it's getting very tough to find mature cats. You will occasionally see a good cat from some of these outfitters, but what you aren't seeing or hearing...

Los Dos Amigos is good food. Nine Mile canyon is a decent place to sight see

Harvest data for general elk hunts

The La Sals are burning up and the Bookcliffs has no business having a spike hunt. I would look at other options.

    DWR in bed with houndsman???

I'll start this off with stating that I've had hounds my entire life, I've also been on over 140 bear kills over bait. Hound hunting is a hell of a lot more work than baiting and takes a lot more dedication. Baiting is about the laziest hunting possible, but it's effective. The only reason the...

    Sego Canyon access

You can get a truck to the 10 mile knoll trailhead now. I would imagine Sego is good to go now too. Not much for bear sign yet though.

    Sego Canyon access

Still can't access from either side, but snow is melting fast. May 1st will be no problem.

    2021 utah permit recommendations

Elkassassin it right. There's a heap of problems on the Bookcliffs. It has been so poorly managed that it's truly sad. I've spent a considerable percentage of my life on that mountain and none of my family even applies there anymore because it sickening. The buffalo are cool, but putting them...

    Bookcliffs roadless access

The road up hay canyon is better than the road up Sego, but it is also a place you dont wanna be with a heavy rain. It is better at times, but the county has been pretty lazy the last year and it's been real washboarded.

spot and stalk mt lion in Utah

There's very very few cats left on the Bookcliffs. I'd say we need to quit beating this dead horse, but dead horses would do wonders for the Bookcliffs. The cats aren't the problem out there. There are far less cats now than when the deer herd was good. They need to shut down deer and elk...
