Be patient, as each day goes by you are one more day into usually better rut conditions. I was in there for my Dad elk hunting a couple years ago when the 3rd season was earlier and by end of the season we saw some really good bucks roaming around in the sage country.

You’ll be good. Most of the roads there will fit a pickup but side by side is best.

I feel for you NR's, I drew 66 - 2nd last year with 3 points. I had a feeling it was going to creep hard so I went for it last fall.

I have a feeling more tags will go towards the second season. I would guess that they know the vulnerability of bucks in the later seasons so tags may get re-allotted around to the second season. Just taking a guess at it....

If you have an ATV or UTV I think with some of your limitations you could have a really fun hunt in 66 2nd. Lots of glass-able areas.
