Just wondering, with all the talk of CWD, has anyone been able to capture video footage or pictures of dead or dying deer or elk?
Please post them if you have captured anything

You doubt he lived much longer? You didn't contact a warden? So you just filmed him and left?

I Turned a Bull in out in the Book Cliffs to the DWR in 2004!

The Bull didn't have more than a couple Days of Life Left,He was that Bad!

I Called them Several Times to Find out rather the Bull Had CWD or Not!

They Wouldn't Talk or tell me anything!

"You doubt he lived much longer? You didn't contact a warden? So you just filmed him and left?"

I contacted the DWR regarding the sick elk I had seen, when I suggested that I thought it was CWD the guy got all butt hurt and really upset basically calling me a liar. But said if I could find the elk again he would come out and take a look at it. I never saw the bull again and have never seen another elk in the area that has signs of sickness(cwd)

I thought my buck had CWD this year but turned out negative...nice mature buck but skinny as a rail....

Saw a wasters cow just this past week from the highway, called G&F and they came out right away and took it out.

Found this bull still alive back in 2016, he could still pick his head up but that was about it. I called DWR and was told to leave him alone and let nature take its course, I sent them pictures and everything but they wouldn't let me put him out of his misery. Said they would send someone out as soon as they could. I went on my way but came back about 6 hours later and he was dead. Finally seen head lights over in the area he was in well after dark later that night, took them about 12 hours to get an officer to him.

They tested him for CWD and he was negative, just because they are sick doesn't mean they have CWD lots of things can get these animals. Officer said he was a super old bull and his teeth were wore way down.

It took some badgering and a couple months but I was able to keep the antlers. I was pretty annoyed when I seen they skull capped him, I really wanted to do a euro mount with him. But at least I got to keep him.
