Wyoming deer area 165

I know this is an old topic but I’m headed there this October any advice on deer hunting 165. We have 2 buck tags and 4 doe tags.

Wash your hands after going to the bathroom. That way you don’t get sick and can finish your hunt.

No deer in that unit at all

I assume type 1 tags? Hope for snow. This is the best buck we found in 6 days. Lots of 2 pointers and saw a lot of muley does.

Wow that’s a nice buck. Yes type 1 tags and whitetail doe tags. Going last week in October so yea hopefully a bit of snow

Do your research on the whitetail end. Some of those HMA are draw and you have to draw for your week. Never done it so my advice is look into it. I believe there are a few other ranches that allow access and the big one I can't think of the name

Thanks, from what I’ve read and understand those ranches that are draw only for whitetail are in November only. Think there is a late white tail buck hunt there we will be last week of October and trying for whitetail doe

Correct. I know the sleeper is draw only.. Don't know the rules for does though. Lot of the ranches are no mule deer hunting.
