Where are all the LUCKY sheep tag holders at?

Drew the desert in 2017, and then successfully hunted a stone last August. Going for the dall this August. As awesome as drawing that desert was, it's also turning out to be a bit of curse in it's like crack to me: can't quit until I achieve the slam--or die trying.

Assuming success this August, I may go to Alberta for a rocky next year (assuming there is still a 2024 tag available somewhere, there may not be). However, if I'm unsuccessful this August, maybe I can muster the sense to call it quits for bighorns (not sure I can). Africa, New Zealand, Argentina, Canada, Alaska--so many potential fun hunts/adventures one could otherwise do for the price of one sheep hunt.

Anyway, I don't know why sheep hunters all talk like the stone is the most expensive. From my shopping around, both the rocky and desert are way more expensive (and that's saying something). Much congrats to anyone who draws one of those two tags. Such a privilege to be able to hunt those things.

I’m not sure where you’re shopping but just about every stone hunt is over $80k now. Most are 6 figures. Desert hunts in Mx are $40-70k depending on how big you want and how far from the corral they herd if before they let you shoot it. Rocky’s are right in there with stones considering you’re gonna have to go back a couple times for most Canadian hunts. I’d buy a conservation tag in the lower 48 for a rocky if I needed one personally.
