This is nothing new!! Fish and Game are just finally admitting it. I know people that have seen em as far back as the 90s. I've seen big canine tracks around Frog Meadow and Tobias Peak in the early 2000s.

Government always protecting and preserving wildlife....glad to hear they love the predators more than the prey. Do they not know that their revenue comes from those after the prey? When the prey is gone, so is the revenue. F'ing morons....

Maybe they are genius's and plan on selling wolf hunts for tens of thousands of dollars in the next 25 years. Idiots!

Eventually, the lions and wolves will be killing eachother because there won't be any deer or elk left.

So SS! is on to something. Cali should lead the way in saving grizzlies and wolves! Hell- they could even add a wolf to that awe-inspiring flag of theirs.

All the intermountain states should immediately ship their wolves and grizzlies to Cali. I'm sure Newsom wouldn't mind using his driveway as the import station. Once Cali is fully saturated with hungry apex predators with absolutely no ungulates to eat, the Instagram videos of eco-warriors running for their lives will make the internet great again.

If you knew the factual history of the Yowlumni Indians you wouldn't be so quick to judge.

Back before the White man came onto the land and ruined everything in nature, the Yowlumni Tribe was raided by a neighboring tribe. All the Yowlumni were killed except for one young girl and one young boy. Somehow, they managed to hide and lived.

The wolves noticed this and took in the children and raised them. Eventually the girl and boy got married and began repopulating the Yowlumni Tribe. That is why the wolf is sacred to the Yowlumni.

It's good that Fish&Wildlife recognizes this and honors the Tribe and the wolves.

Kinda why the Salmon people (all those tribes bitching about Snake river dams) just signed a deal with the Biden administration. Now they will control future power( electricity) in the Pacific NW. Tribes get richer and richer. My power bill will go up and up, and the Spirt fish will continue to struggle due to ocean conditions and predators. Never was about the fish......

Your history is something the F&G expolits. Fish and Game is populated with a bunch of environmentalists, who exploit things like "Tribes" "Racial Inequity" and "fish" in order to further their own insidious agenda, which is firstly, ending hunting by humans. Secondly, removing people from their lands and into cities.
