    5b Youth Mule Deer

My two cousins both ended up with 4 points. After only two days of being on this hunt with them I realized the potential for a giant, but they were both super excited for these bucks as it was a first deer for both of them.

New Mexico unit 23 mule deer

I feel your pain CJ. Unfortunately my report of this hunt is similar. Didn't spend quite as much time out there but only saw two groups of deer that had spikes and small two-points in them. One of those groups was on the side of road in a spot we weren't even hunting in, but had stopped to take...

    5b Youth Mule Deer

I’ve got two cousins with the coveted youth mule deer tag in 5b. I’ll be headed up a couple days before to scout. For those that have hunted that hunt before, I’d love to pick your brain about it. More than anything I’d like to get confirmation that the places I have picked out are worth my...

    2021 Regulations and Draw Report

Does anyone know where I can find the 2021 Arizona Elk and Antelope regulations? I'm also looking for the more detailed draw report that shows how many people were drawn in the bonus pass and with what amount of points. The new reports that GF puts out are not really that helpful. Thanks!

    Point Sharing/Point Guard

You’re absolutely right, point guard isn’t the problem, I think it’s a good option to give hunters and isn’t a “rampant” problem. I’m focusing more on point sharing in general. I don’t think people should be able to average points with someone else at all.

    Point Sharing/Point Guard

I think game and fish should get rid of the point sharing system all together. It’s frustrating that someone who doesn’t have the money or connections to share points has to patiently wait in line as they accrue points year after year while not getting drawn. Others, however, can either get...

    41,42, 421 Deer Tag Numbers

Dang ok thanks for the input. Any other units you’d recommend for a nonresident with 0 points?

    41,42, 421 Deer Tag Numbers

Looking at GoHunt and the CPW statistics, there was a huge decrease in 3rd season tag numbers in 2020 for these units. Anyone have any insight as to why CPW did this and what the tag numbers will look like in 2021? I don’t have any points so I’m trying to get an idea of what my odds will be...

    Turkey Hunters

Spent this last weekend in 1 with my sisters on the youth hunt. Saw a few crossing the road but hardly any gobbles.

City of Grand Junction Land Access

Isn't that right in the middle of town? Seems like it would be tough to hunt.

City of Grand Junction Land Access

Thats awesome BeanMan. As long as I can just get through to the BLM back there, I can figure out where to go out from there. So that's good to know!

Sounds like that's exactly what this Arizona desert guy needs!

City of Grand Junction Land Access

Thanks BeanMan, the "New Forum" label was a little confusing. But I appreciate the info. I figured there would at least be a few resident deer hanging out in the cedars above that desert stuff. Back to the drawing board I guess.

City of Grand Junction Land Access

Is this not in the Colorado section? Looks like it is. Anyways, This is the area I was thinking about. On OnX you can see that there are shaded sections of land labeled City of Grand Junction. I'm fairly certain I can't hunt it, but am I allowed to walk/drive through it in order to hunt the BLM...

City of Grand Junction Land Access

Hi all, I've called CPW, BLM, City of Grand Junction and still cannot get a straightforward answer so I figured I would ask here, assuming that many have asked the same question. The question is this: Can I hunt on land owned by the City of Grand Junction? If so, great. If not, am I allowed...
