Wanted to get some feedback on how the harsh Utah winter might affect the elk hunt this fall. I'm planning to draw a LE September archery tag and wanted to know what you guys have seen in the past with the rut timing/ intensity or other factors after a bad winter- thanks

1. Guy wanted to show the effectiveness of 7 PRC long range on an elk.... needs a follow up shot....
2. Said they were there to kill a 5 point... bull was a nice 6.....
2021 general season public land Utah buck. Didn’t think I’d hike 14 miles for a 2 point but he’s the biggest fork horn I’ve ever seen. I knew I wasn’t going to get any more hunting days this season so I put him down! He slid about 80 yards down the mtn.. made a good looking Halloween tubing hill.
Picked up my trail cam yesterday and saw this beast hit the lens the day before (6/25) With a month left to grow how big do you think he’ll get? Do some bulls just grow quicker and finish out sooner in the year than others?
