Wanted to get some feedback on how the harsh Utah winter might affect the elk hunt this fall. I'm planning to draw a LE September archery tag and wanted to know what you guys have seen in the past with the rut timing/ intensity or other factors after a bad winter- thanks

Picked up my trail cam yesterday and saw this beast hit the lens the day before (6/25) With a month left to grow how big do you think he’ll get? Do some bulls just grow quicker and finish out sooner in the year than others?

Can’t beat being deep in the elk woods during the peak of the rut! No tag for my dad and I this year, just the phone camera. Woke up at 3:30 and drove to a new area I’ve been wanting to scout all year. Our 10 mile hike turned out to be well worth it with an awesome day seeing 5 bulls, 40+ cows...
