    Vaccine experience?

Excellent question. There is still limited data regarding the efficacy of vaccines in controlling the spread of this particular corona virus. Certainly we are seeing instances of breakthrough infection and these folks have the ability to transmit infection to others. Over the next year we will...

    Vaccine experience?

Again, I would advise you to look for consensus amongst experts. The veterinarian that you are referencing does have a degree in virology but a quick perusal of his posts demonstrate that he is advising against all mass vaccinations. He is clearly an outlier in this field of study. How many...

    Vaccine experience?

You are absolutely correct that every medical procedure carries an inherent degree of risk. Your primary care provider is best situated to help you weigh the risks relative to you as an individual. They can review your medical history and help you determine if you are a candidate for vaccination...

    Vaccine experience?

Everyone in my family except our youngest is fully vaccinated 42M, 43F, 17M and 15F. We were all fairly ill for 24 hours following our second dose. Our youngest son is only 10 and is still ineligible to be vaccinated. He contracted Covid on the 14th fom his buddy who had already had it one...

    Kodiak Bears

Went on a fishing trip to Kodiak with my Dad, Uncle and some other folks when I was 18. I made the same comment about outrunning the slowest guy to my Uncle since he was the heaviest and least agile of the crew. He looked me right in the eye and said, "Boy, if you think I won't shoot you in the...

My son received a bull tag in that unit as an alternate last year. At least it didn't go to waste.

High Magnification Binos vs a Spotting Scope

I bought some Cabelas Euro HD 15x56 binos a few years back which are just rebranded Meoptas. I find them to be excellent for hunting the Southwest. I get significantly less eye fatigue than when using a spotter. They are my go to for glassing large chunks of landscape when attached to a tripod...

    Anyone applying in Nevada

Before this rule change a resident could buy Aunt Sally a hunting license and put her in for the draw every year as a member of a party. Every year she turns in her tag and keeps her points. After ten years you are almost guaranteed a tag every year. After fifteen years you are almost guaranteed...

    Cow Elk 222-223 Dec Hunt

Congrats on a great hunt with your daughter. Our family has been fortunate to draw this tag several times. It is a great hunt to put some tasty meat in the freezer. This is my wife's cow from New Years day.

    NV 131-134 Early Rifle...

I have hunted this unit annually for the last five years with family or friends. The important thing to remember for this unit is that the herd will migrate during your hunt. You can go to an area one week and see deer everywhere and then return to the exact same place one week later and see...

    Sportsman warehouse

I do a lot of DOT physicals and drug screens at work so we have a ton of them. The drug screen bottles are pretty durable and waterproof. Except when they are cracked. One of my assistants forgot to check for damage to the container the other day and it leaked urine all over her when she filled...

    Sportsman warehouse

Good point. I have started carrying leftover urine drug testing bottles to hold fresh/dirty blades. They weigh next to nothing and keep me from getting poked or cut. I didn't think this through the first time I used the disposable blades and ended up burying the used blades at the kill site...

    Christian Hunters

It's a brilliant hustle. If I believed in Gods I would definitely get in on some of this action. All you have to do is become an ordained minister online and then register your church with the IRS. As long as you shout hallelujah after you pull the trigger and post it on YouTube, every hunting...

That's awesome. Your timing could not have been better. My son is currently in the process of turning his bull and his muley buck from last year into euro mounts and he needs skull hangers. Thank you so much. You just made a kid very happy. Edit: I just called my Grandmother to tell her that...

    Nevada bull elk hunt

Cows were up high and some were still getting pushed by bulls, or down low in the Ag fields. We are heading up New Years weekend for my wife's cow tag as well. I have been watching the weather and there still hasn't been any snow to speak. Some pressure from hunters might finally push them off...

    AZ bans trailcams?

Not sure if anyone has mentioned this yet in this thread. One of the major issues with trail cams over water is that people checking cameras can really mess up an archery hunt. Almost every watering hole in Arizona has a natural blind set up near it for archery hunters to use. They are first...

    AZ bans trailcams?

I did not see a single trail cam this year in Nevada outside of the legal time frame. So far the legislation seems to have been effective. Having people constantly approach watering holes to check cameras in arid country can really limit animal access to water.
