I dont have a problem at all with the landowner pool. However I would be all for a rule stating that if they draw a tag they can only hunt said animal on their own property.

Trust me it wouldnt bother some of the landowners I know either! SOME of them hate the elk. They are always fixing fence the elk tear up and see them as competing against their cows for forage. Ive not heard any cross words from landowners about deer, all seems to be directed at the elk.

My son shot this buck and I thought it would be cool to euro it. Does anyone know of someone who does that in the Weiser area? Or treasure valley area for that matter not just Weiser. Well Sunday I talked to a guy I know who drew 3 bull tags between him and his family for unit 31. They killed their three bulls (raghorns) but out of all the days they hunted they literally saw a total of 2 does. And that was over toward the Brownlee side so that answered my question.

3% draw odds on elk, not sure on the deer but it isn't good either.. But hey somebody has got to get lucky.
