Also are the rattlers rally that bad out there? planning to do some summer scouting and with two hunts in the same unit, I am looking to invest in some snake boots / gaiters and maybe a snake gun

Got mine two days ago

First year applying so it updated from 0 to 1 point. I think if I was awarded a 3rd or 4th choice it would say awarded then highlight or write out the one I got I am assuming. No CC charge either. Oh well. I already have a Utah and NM deer tag so I really can not complain

Also Got a "not awarded" on the CPW website. So much for the toprut odds, said I had a 50 percent odds for my 3rd choice and 100 percent for my 4th choice for the units 128 and 122 multi unit 1st and 2nd archery tags. Unles I am not understanding how the system works? This is my first year...

Hwy 82 has the dry creek shooting range. Don’t recommend going on the weekend it’s full of yahoos with no sense of safety and ricochets galore

I’ll be in 33 for both antelope rifle and mule deer archery. Hunts are only about 1 week apart which is awesome luck. You ever need a renter in Clovis lmk, housing is rough out here lol

This in in reply to the unit 34 post. I used to live very close by and hunted up there a little bit. while the time i was there was only a couple months, I often ran into deer in the drier and lower areas between the months of march to may. Even saw deer many times near that shooting range...

AD out at cannon here - Didnt draw a thing last year, got a ~10 Percent odds rifle antelope and ~30 percent odds muzz mule deer this year. Ive put in for all animals with all of the military only hunts and haven't drawn any of the range hunts yet. Hoping next year for an oryx or elk tag. Though...

ended up drawing the muzzleloader hunt for cache - has an early 100 percent draw rate for non resident so not sure why I was surprised. Guess i need to buy a muzzleloader!
