Good unit for your dad, there are roads everywhere, you literally cannot walk a mile without crossing another road unless you are parallel with one. Quality is down from 5 years ago so don't expect to shoot a giant. Anything over 170? is a great buck in 22 now.

You don't need a atv for 11, but you may need chains, looks like its going to get sloppy!

You have to be pretty lucky to come out of there with an 80? buck. Anything over 75? is a great buck in there. Are there 80?ers? Ya one or two! Pressure is fairly high on the water holes for the first week but there are places to get away if you don't mind hunting where there are fewer goats.

That will be a challenge, those sheep do move down sometimes but not usually until after the gun season. I had an archery tag in there in 2010, let me know if you need help packing sheep!

The application fee increase is coming, that is a guarantee! And most likely we will be buying a non refundable hunting license just like a lot of other states. That was the plan all along in the meetings i attended, they are just working on the legislation so they can change it, i believe.

I would not use 18 points on a unit 2 muzzy tag, and i live right down the road. The description of the hunt you are looking for does not describe that hunt. Unit 2 deer can be really tough. Personally with that amount of points I'd stick with a rut hunt with the fewest amount of competition i...
