I just picked up the spike tag (early) for these units. I’m happy to share info after my hunt.

Does anyone know how NDOW handles tags that were resident only in the regular draw such as mountain goat, depredation elk etc. Do these go to fcfs if they are returned within the fcfs timeframe?

Not that I know of but I wish there was. It would nice if NDOW posted a daily or weekly recap.

Early rifle deer 101-109 for me and wife drew a desert sheep ewe tag.

Are you sitting and glassing? Do you have your binos on a tripod? Do you have a spotting scope? If you are glassing from a good location for the first few hours in the morning you should be finding deer.

Not sure if there are too many people to avoid on the late tag. Don't they give out far fewer late tags than the early and mid seasons? If it was my tag I'd hunt the Ruby's.
