Non-resident with 18pts. Have been trying for East Lassen muzzleloader as a party of 2. Only 4 tags available in the draw (+1 tag for random). We are thinking of applying separately this year to increase the odds of drawing. Any input of different units/hunts we should be considering?

My buddy and I have been trying for M5. We now have 17 pts. It looks as if we are in the mix for 2022 (unless some hunters with 17+ pts decide to enter). Is there a better unit to use these points on? I ain't getting any younger...lol
