My son smacked him first thing this morning. First turkey on his first turkey hunt. Great start too the year.

We were able to get into some this morning but it never came close enough for my son to feel comfortable shooting. With it being 80 degrees all of a sudden and the wind We called it a day. Will be up bright and early tomorrow for another shot hopefully.

Been out here in unit 30 since Sunday and haven't seen anything but 5 does lol. All the hunters I have talked to haven't seen anything either. Starting to think there isn't much left in here. Idk how they give 1K plus deers tags out for this unit.

My co worker drew elk unit 6B last year first time putting in ever. He had never shot a bow in his life then decided it was too expensive for everything so he just didn't go on the hunt! I have been putting in for years and haven't pulled a elk tag. I would give my left nut for that hunt ?

Hi, I was wondering if anyone had any starting points for deer in unit 36. I am going to be scouting every weekend till the hunt starting this weekend. I have never been out to unit 36 and was wondering if any one had any pointers on where to start. Thank you in advance
