Heading there for a 3rd season buck hunt. Will have a side by side that is wider than 50 inches. Is there any reason to also bring a 4 wheeler? Like width restricted trails or anything? Any updates on weather and deer movement? Thanks

I've been scouting for antelope and turning up bulls all over. Maybe an elk hunter with a unit 100 tag would like to swap information on the big goats they are seeing and I'll send you a pin of a 340 i saw this morning.....

Thanks everyone. What throws me off is the prong's are well above his ears and he looks thick above the prong. I thought that might give him a third mass measure below the prong? He's in unit 60

Sounds like the moisture in NW and Northern Wyoming has been pretty good so far...cool weather and lots of green here in Idaho. Hoping for some great horn growth this year. Way less tags, but I have mine!

I realize you can't grow old bucks killing all the young bucks, but from a non-resident perspective, if it takes me 15-20 years to draw a tag, and 15-20 years before I draw the unit again, why am I supposed to NOT shoot a "young" 180" buck? To save it for someone else? In fact, why shouldn't I...

Does colorado allow for preference point only purchase at a later date? If not it should, that would take a bunch of pressure off the system. Just allow PP to be purchased starting 4/6. Wyoming does this and seems to help.

From my experience in Colorado last fall (not this unit) I would say that if there is an OTC elk hunt going on there will be a huge amount of people on the mountain. A sea of orange unless you get away from the easy spots.
