If I don’t know the unit and am able to stay the whole season and scout 1-2 days prior to opener, that’s what I like to do. Some years I might only have 7 days for a hunt, so I’m not going to show up early to scout. Instead, I will use all those days during season.

That’s horrible! Was going to try to finally draw 57 this year after seeing what I did a few years ago. After watching the winter, I didn’t even want try to hunt there this year and just bought another point. Might be a long time before I see that country again
