Fun thread to read. I will say this. I still use my dads Remington .270 that he bought new when he was 15. (He is now 85) I have replaced the Scope on it. I love this gun it shoots straight and has taken many deer and a few Elk.

Draw Tag. Utah has Sportsman's Tags you apply in November. 1 tag per species basically have all fall to hunt. No points etc... Everyone puts in and has the same chance to win the tag for all big game.

Yeah the few times I was on the unit this summer the deer seemed spread out. They really cut the tags on it this year. Hopefully it will work out.

I know the unit well. More just wondering where people of seen deer the dreaded question that everyone hates asking. It's a good thing I can't get out but it's still a bit painful to not get a chance to really hunt hard this year.

I just got my email and I drew my tag for Fish Lake. I was surprised to see the dates listed as October 23rd-31st. I like the later date this year on the tag.

Bookcliffs deer is a fun unit where you see a ton of deer. Lots of 4 points and managed for about 160" deer. This is no secret. There are bigger taken off every year. And smaller but that is where you are at.
