I’ll add also that if it rains at all. Sitting water will be as productive as sitting in camp. Another reason I love the spot and stalk. I just remembered that 7 or 8 years ago we killed a mid 90s antelope out of 015 (rifle) though.

Largest problem faced by Nevada wildlife is wild horses and burros. They are completely unchecked population wise. Nice bull! A good shiras is around 1000, that bull is probably in the 850-900lbs category. They are pretty much on par with a big bull elk. Congrats on a fine bull and some of the very best eating you will have anywhere.

Another picture. Spot and stalk… saw him from a half mile and planned out my approach. It wasn’t until he skyline himself at 150yrds that I was like oh damn he’s a good one.

A big buck is defined by the area your hunting. In some places a splindly horned 3 pt is big... because it's the largest buck in the unit. In others it's 150?. Very few people ever take that into account when they look at a deer. On the other side of things though basically if a buck makes...

Always make sure you shoot in the rain. That way it will always be wet. On serious note just don't ever draw your bow back without an arrow nocked. $10 arrow in the Wall sure trumps fixing your bow.
