I agree with jims. I have the Kuiu and I am happy with it, but I have used a Kifaru pack and it is definitely the next the step up.

Congrats on the new opportunity in Denver! I don't disagree with any of the comments above, but on the flip side Denver has a lot going for it. It has great job potential (this has been mentioned), the schools are great in many areas (you said you have kids), great opportunities for youth...

Agree with the comments from Coloradoboy. It will definitely be stealth fishing. I have fished The Pan quite a bit and usually have had success, but I have always struggled in the winter...but a day on the river is better than sitting around! Have fun!
