Spikes and smaller cows I wouldn't hesitate, but bigger bodied elk you'll be sorry. T3's cost me a big bull in 2011.

Met an older gentleman on Thursday who claimed to have turned in this tag, he had suffered a heart attack and had stints in his arm. He had waited his whole life for this hunt and now may never get to go.

Kelly TSR tires have done me right 40000 + on them and still got good rubber on them. I pull trailers, drive off road and have no complaints. Dodge 2500 diesel

Some of my most memorable hunts where shared with family and friends. I was able to go on a long awaited hunt this year and have 2 of my sons,my father in law, brother in law and nephew share in my success and it made for a hunt we all will never forget.I look at this picture almost every day...

Monroe is a good unit to archery hunt but start learning the unit now. Its only getting harder with each passing year. It took me 13 years to draw a Monroe archery tag but I met one gentle man who drew with only 4 points. All you can do is try.

Bought a CRX 32 for my elk hunt this year and I love the way it shoots. My only problem with it was that the string wore out pretty quick and I changed out with a Winners Choice and other then that I have no complaints.

I have been shooting Tekan broadheads sense they came out and have killed lots of critters with them. When the t3 came out I liked them even more and ran out and bought some to try. I had no problems with them and loved how well the flew. I drew my LE elk this year and made the choice to shoot...

Don't beat your self up over it we all at one time or another have lost or will lose animals to those unexplainable reasons. Elk are big animals an can take a near fatal shot and pull threw just fine. I hope you find what your looking for to to set aside all doubts. Good luck

I shot my bull this last week and when cutting him up I was amazed by the anatomy of a big bull. With 8 or 9 inches of penetration I bet it lodged in his ribs and will be a bit sore for him for awhile but not fatal.IMO. What did the blood look like?

Thanks AR my kids are still reeling about it. I am also excited to have help out another MMer and to see the smile on his face from his success. It makes my hunt that much more memorable. Thanks to all for you comments. Extrema1
