Archery Bull tag here!

Without trail cams starting in 2022 I think the Archery Strip tags are going to be risky to have for higher point holders even with a guide. A late tag would be ideal, but drawing will never be a guarantee. I would be considering the 12a early rifle, or 3a/3c hunts.

If the commission chooses to ban them it will be interesting to see how they word it in the regulations. If it says it's illegal to take game using trail cameras then there will likely still be game cams being used and I just don't think the hunters will be leaving those cams alone like they...

Once the trail cams are banned it's hard to say how many will use them, but I'm sure some will continue. It's likely when this trail cam ban goes into effect I think the law abiding hunters will remove any trail cam set by somebody not following the rules.

If your noticing that they're all 5 grains off, won't be cheap but will probably be best to site in with the broadheads rather than field points. Wish they made them in the 85 grain, I would buy enough to not have to worry about purchasing another broadhead again.

It kinda goes with the saying "Once a Poacher Always a Poacher"...Even if either of them hunt again and harvest an animal, they have lost all credibility with the hunting community for the rest of their lives.

Colorado definitely has an interesting way to purchase a bonus point. I think the ones that have applied for many years will continue to do so until they draw. Most of the ones that were wanting to start to build pts will probably never start.

Turn them in everytime, and let Game and Fish determine if they're being used for hunting purposes. I had the same thing happen this year during the January archery deer hunt..

I would already have to know he was at 50 yards, so it's likely I wouldn't be able to get a range, and shot off on these bucks. If I did manage to draw and put the 50 on that buck on the left, I would let it fly.

I agree that most of the top guides on the strip will continue to harvest great bucks with, or without trail cams on the rifle hunt. Mainly a glassing/spot stalk type hunt. I think the archery hunt on the strip is going to become quite a bit tougher for the Guides/DIY to harvest the top end...
