Non Res that has always wanted to hunt cougar. Here in Washington it's illegal to use dogs. So I'm excited to experience this hunt with dogs. Drew Central Mountains Manti Southwest LE permit. Anyone ever hunt this for Cougar? Any good stories or pictures.what to expect?

I have max elk points but still know its pretty slim draw odds for the rifle late season elk permits around Cody WY. If I ever draw who do you guys think the best guides in the area are? looking at units 54,56,58,59,66, or other good units around there.

No luck for me. Up to 8 points now. Do points matter at all in the cougar draw as a non res? I think in most every unit there is only one tag available for Non Res hunters so it just goes into the random draw.

No Bison for me. Anyone know why they don't do points for bison? They have points for everything else?

Boom, buck down. Wouldn't even take me 25 seconds to decide to shoot him. Unless i had a AZ strip tag, Henrys tag or some statewide tag i could hunt the whole year. a lot bigger then anything I have shot before.

Does Bison come out when the moose and sheep come out?

My unit lost 20% (5 permits) . Going to make it a Little more difficult to draw . 4 non res permits instead of 5.

If thats the true story the hunter is either stupid or thats a new excuse because this story got out to the public. That buck sure looks like a mule deer to me. If it comes back as pure mule deer I hope they throw the book at him.

All i know is they kill a lot of big bucks. I looked into hunting with them but way out of my price range. The were very nice over email answering questions.
