Selling my Hilleberg Nallo 4 tent. Only used once on a sheep hunt for 5 days. Everything looks new and clean other than some dirt on the stakes from the high country. True 4 season 3-4 person tent. Paid $960 Asking $825 + shipping. Local pickup in Rock Springs, WY
And therein lies our problem. NR are looking to join together but the resident hunters of Wyoming think we can continue to fight this fight on our own with no organization. Hell the WYOGA is only as powerful as they are because they are united. If the resident hunters of Wyoming came together...
Agreed Teepee. I support businesses, bars, restaurants, gas stations and hotels all across Wyoming during hunting season. What Jims article fails to tell us how much money comes from residents and how much from nonresidents. Totals mean nothing!
Frankly to think that you should have a say about what goes on in a state you don’t live in, is laughable! I apply for quite a few western states but not every one due what each state does individually. Never once have I thought that I should have any say in how another state chooses to manage...
Well hopefully these senators realize they aren’t elected by the small group of outfitters and nonresidents but rather the people of Wyoming. Hopefully it shows when it’s time for re-election.
“Wyoming First”
I am willing to take a price increase for resident tags across the board if we go to 90/10. I’ve had 1 LE deer tag in the last 23 years of applying and drew my first LE elk tag in Wyoming last year. It’s the cheapest part of the hunt. Yes I’m able to hunt general every year but that’s the perks...
Hopefully this link to an archived post works for you. Bad taxidermy is the worst! Tyler Anderson in Utah is an amazing taxidermist and does a great job of fixing f*#% ups. Here?s what he did for one fellow mm hunter. Looks like two different animals...

Well I lucked out and drew a southwest desert muzzleloader elk tag at the expo this year. I'm 0-21 LE elk tags in my home state of Wyoming so needless to say I was thrilled when I received the news. I plan to make scouting trips whenever I can and setup game cams, glass etc. Sounds like lots of...
Was extremely saddened to hear of the passing of Jason Hairston today! Definitely one of the leading innovators in the hunting industry! He strived to provide quality, lighter products and was constantly pushing other companies to do the same. Rumor mill is suicide. Taken with a grain of salt...
I talked to the Game and Fish in Pinedale on Saturday and they said a little over 900 residents in for area 7. Should be somewhere around 1 in 100 draw odds.
I finally drew Resident Area 2 for sheep. If anyone has any info on the area it would be greatly appreciated as I will not be using an outfitter. Thanks
Hunted 26 last year with my dad. Not the area it used to be. Carotid artery disease is really taking its toll on the population. Lots of moose with most in the low 30's some in the upper 30's and this on was 40. Saw another one that had more width but really weak paddles. There are better...
