Yeah I'm definitely planning on bowhunting my moose for sure. I drew an ID moose tag a two years ago and shot a decent one with a gun. Really looking forward to this hunt!
I shot a moose with a Magnus stinger buzzcut last year and had a complete pass through. I also shot an Alaskan brown bear with one and also had a complete pass through. Super accurate head....one of my favorites! Good luck on your hunt!
Bogey,
Congrats! Let us know what you drew when the results get posted. Man I was so paranoid about this tag not materializing that I actually called my CC company this morning to verify the charge was still there :)
I got hit for $1,518.00 on my cc. Is there anyway to know which tag it is or do I have to wait in anguish for the emails to roll in? Moose, sheep, goat and bison all cost the same! Thx guys

I had 8 pts. I really don't care for the late season rifle hunts and didn't want to burn that many pts on an archery tag. I prefer archery hunting and saw no reason to keep accumulating points for nothing. It should be a fun hunt and being this is the first year for the rifle hunt, I think...
Good to know. I thought you couldn't enter your 2nd choice online ( no option) if you put PP as your first choice. Good luck and I hope you get your tag.
Born 2 Hunt
Not sure if I'm totally following you. I think if you apply for pts as a first choice you're not eligible for your second choice. You'll have to wait and see what's in the leftover draw.
Hey guys,
I got lucky and pulled the White Sands desert sheep tag. Question, has anybody ever seen rams on this unit? I know access is restricted so I'm guessing there's not a lot of info. I hunted oryx there a couple years ago but didn't see any sheep in the area we were hunting. Figured my...
