I bought a Pioneer 700 when they first came out, this one didn't have the flip up seat option in the back--with 2 220+ pound guys and pushing 27" Bighorns I never had a problem going up any hill--keep the air filter clean and you'll never power out. I ended up selling it and buying a brand new...

By the numbers, there are 206,506 in the drawing and 200 tags available. The odds of drawing a tag is .00097% so I for one am not holding my breath!

I have a Slik tripod w/ panhead. Total weight is 2.1 lbs for around $100. ounce for ounce it's a great set up. It's sturdy enough for my 80mm swaro.

Actually, if the beams have irregular flair you take the measurement from the widest point up to where the irregular flair starts. You can't give it credit for irregular flair.

I've tried a bunch of cameras and the little bushnells are the best I've seen. I think they're great! I've had 6 of them and had problems with one, sent it to bushnell and they sent me a brand new one that was the latest greatest version vs the one I sent to them. couldn't be happier.

While out on a hike last evening I stumbled upon a doe and a newborn fawn, seems a little early for fawns doesn't it??? If the gestation period for a doe is 7 months, this doe would've had to go into estrus sometime in September. I'm not a biologist by any means, just found this very interesting.

I'd like to see the doe tags cease--it's never made sense to me as to why they allocate so many tags per unit when there aren't any units that are anywhere close to meeting target objectives???? Let's meet the target objectives THEN re access the number of does.

My 8 year old and I on his first elk hunt. His smile says it all!
