Got lucky and pulled the 41 tag in the 2nd draw. Hunted the unit for lope and coyotes a few times but not for deer. Anyone willing to share some information or expectations? Pm or reply.. Thanks, I appreciate it

Good friend of mine drew. He's up scouting this weekend.

I talked with them this morning, as of 10 the drawing still hasn't been completed. She said she is currently working on it but having issues. She also said it will be next week before it's completed and later next week when results are posted.

I just talked with a very nice lady at the Boise office... She said the drawing has not been completed cause they had several issues with this years system. She said to start checking the website late next week and plan on results coming out on the 29th.

Drew this permit this year and it will be my first Montana hunt. I already have the area i'm going to hunt figured out. Just was looking for any advice or input on what i might be up against. I plan on hunting the last 10 days of September. You fellas have any advice?

Does anyone rent night vision scopes. Headed on a hog hunt in Texas and landowner said all the hogs are nocturnal. Just trying to weigh my options. Don't really want to buy one since i feel i may never use it again. Any advice fellas?

I have left 2 messages with Eberlestock in the last 3 weeks and still haven't got a return phone. call. Called blacks creek last week and there customer service was great. Blacks creek has my business and I will refer my friends also. Customer service is very important.

I shot an antelope and a bear in 07 that are in the book. At the time i was all about it. Now days it doesn't interest me. I think now days people are all about the score and not the memories and the hunt.

Next animal i kill will be called Grizzmoose, i'm pretty excited about it! Stay tuned....
