Is it time for the state of Arizona to change how it views guides & outfitters?

I am in total agreement if the was some enforcement that would fix a lot of these problems.

Is it time for the state of Arizona to change how it views guides & outfitters?

Actually I haven't exaggerated it at all. You can absolutely get your guide license by paying $300.00 and passing the 50 question test. Once you have the license then you can decide either to work under someone that already happens to have the insurance and permits. This happens all the time...

Is it time for the state of Arizona to change how it views guides & outfitters?

I see your point and it might not be a good thing but I think we should at least open it up for other ideas.

Is it time for the state of Arizona to change how it views guides & outfitters?

I wouldn't say competition more than I would say bad experience for unaware hunters especially non residents. Every non resident I talked to this year was unaware of the requirements to be a licensed guide in Arizona and all of them were very surprised.

Is it time for the state of Arizona to change how it views guides & outfitters? *Please reply with your thoughts, here are mine... Arizona is the only state in the west that does not distinquish between an outfitter and a guide. A simple 50 question test and $300.00 is the only thing...

    GIANT 13B STRIP DEER

And as far as the shooting it from the raod! #1 it has to be a maintained road (this one was not), that being said we made sure that she was completely 100% off the road anyway, just in case! So it was fully legal and ethical. PERIOD! end of story!

    GIANT 13B STRIP DEER

Why would you have "Sour Grapes"? Does the deer being bigger change anything? If yes then what? What would you have done? Driven around Kelly race him to the deer that he already found and wanted to hunt? Would you have flown open the doors throw a bullet in the chamber and fire one off before...

    GIANT 13B STRIP DEER

Sounds like sour grapes to me! Taking advantage of every opportunity that the law will allow is definitely not bending any rules! Getting up at 3 or 4 in the morning to spot light while everyone else is snuggled fast asleep in their beds is going above and beyond what most hunters and yes even...
