Yeah I forgot about zeiss but they are nice as well. Agree on the v4 being a great scope.

Meopta, Leupold or SIG. They all 3 have great glass, quality and warranty plus can go from 3-9 to 6.5-20 power for under $1000 range.

4831sc with 165 grain gamechanger bullet. Shoots wonders. 2950 fps, 5 shot group at 100 all touching.

I have one of each. Havent mounted my V6 yet but did put the V4 on my 280 Ackley. It's a 6-24x50 and so far I really like it. Custom turret from Kenton and shoots well.

Good choice. Meopta is a great optic. For that price range I think you'll like them. I bought my boy a pair last year and he loves them.

Vortex will be nothing but issues.. Leupold is great but not as high quality of glass. I have Leica, zeiss and Meopta and have sent them in for various things and fixed/returned with no issues. But I can tell you that Leica, zeiss and swaro do have the best optics. Meopta is very nice as well...

That sucks to hear. I sent in my Ultravid hd plus optics after I took a spill on an elk hunt and scratched the lenses, Leica had them fixed and sent back no cost in about 3 months. I'll see if I can find you info to the guy I talked with about my optics if youd like. He was on top of it.

Had one. Sold it. Wasnt as nice as I thought it would be. The Meopta spotter was nicer for same price range.

RTIC makes boxes now, bought one for my spotter and it's easily as nice as my pelican for my other spotter.

For that same price range I would compare the conquests, meoptas and leica trinovid. All 3 are very nice. Will just matter what you think feels best and looks best to your eye. Stay away from Vortex.

I have leica and swaro both binocs and spotters. I prefer my Leicas over my swaros. Image quality is no different and I've never had to use warranty on either but have sent them in for cleanings and both customer service have been great for me. Vortex does not compare.
