This two spots are probably to much rugged, rough, and steep terrain in the unit. It is doable but VERY hard to hunt. Like I said not impossible but you have your work cut out for you. There are a lot of areas you could hunt on the cache unit.
It always shows on a forum those that don't have any actual education in wildlife would say they know what is best for wildlife as well.
Funny how that works
As a waterfowl guide myself I know how a slam dunk hunt can very easily change to a flop of a hunt. You can't always have multiple choices for a hunt and even if you do you can't predict what the birds will do.
That's why they call it hunting bud not killing.
So how did he feed you a line?
Geese very well can be one of the most unpredictable creatures. They migrate bud. Maybe he had a field pegged and guess what the birds were ready to continue heading south or found a better feed
instead of asking why not find the trucks within the years you are wanting and go drive both a tundra and a chevy. make the decision yourself.
opinions help but your opinion is the one that matters. I have driven both and I would still take my 2017 lariat F150 over both.
Sort of the same situation happened a few years back in Salt Lake. The famed cemetery buck ventured out of town and was harvested legally on the extended archery hunt. I remember seeing a picture of a game warden on the mountain looking at the buck. Hunter was 100% legal and the officer...
Grizz if you have suggestions the state should implement to their CWMU program why not take it to the RAC meetings.
I personally believe CWMU'S are a fantastic program, foe the sole reason it gives anyone to hunt these amazing ranches throughout the state for the various species that would...
Yes you are correct your Google calculator works.
The only problem with your point you are trying to prove is that those land locked sections of public are checker boarded not one solid chunk. At least for Deseret in this case. And it is all low elevation sage brush habitat not the premium elk...
Bear river bird refuge is a popular area. I have seen far too many swans get sky blasted and sail for ever before going down.
Manage your shot so it is under 40 yards. Shot mine this year over decoys less than 20 yards one shot 3in. 3 shot stone dead.
Would you rather all CWMU's give those that draw the tag to ONLY hunt those public acres and those who recieved the other tags can hunt all the other acres?
I do not know how those public areas come to be within these vast expanses of private property.
While in college I was able to...
90,000 acres within deseret? do you still believe in the easter bunny and santa?
This is public information Private acres for Deseret 225,031
Public acres 15,359.
Don't believe everything you hear, do some research.
Bess you got so much to say you are under two names now? Judus!!!!!!
You think hunting is bad now wait another 10 days and we will see how bad it can get!
I bet some of yall might even suggest PETA to take over the deer herd management.
Bunch of cry babies I am getting my popcorn and a 12...
legal bull and a very cool looking bull would make an interesting conversation in your house.
Ignore Tri, he turns threats into a swinging contest. get out and go hunt!
I ran your same set up for about 5 years. I shot 1in groups at 100, and about 2.5 to 3in at 200. I cleaned every 3rd shot every time. Cleaning became easier and grouping more consistent
A good bit of private on the east side of bear lake. If you don't have onX I would definitely recommend getting it. Could save you some serious headache about trespassing.
That being said there are a fair amount of roads you can explore as well as goats to be seen.
