I'm kind of a mix between the paper plate and 2"x2" method. I can practice all summer long with great success and then you put a live animal in front of me... it's like I have never shot a bow before. But I guess that's what makes it worth it.

I was fortunate enough to tag out on opening day here in Idaho. One shot at 300 yards and my season was over.

Seems like all I did was glass. Just didn't turn up much when I usually see numbers you're referring to. I did see a few cows though.

I hit the Danskins today and saw about 15 does, no bucks. I'll be heading back up the Middle Fork towards some higher elevations. We'll see how it goes.

Just curious what everybody is seeing out there on the late hunt. I went up yesterday and saw a few smaller bucks pushing does, but nothing too special yet.
