    Box Elder Muzzleloader

Here's the thing Little Shiras! I was merely stating I made a mistake just as DSilver. Not a big deal. If you want to make a comment keep it classy as stated by ridgetops. We understand you are the expert here.

    Box Elder Muzzleloader

Central Mountain Nebo/ Central Mountain Manti. It was an honest mistake, and I can own up to that. I really didn't care if I drew. However, be careful calling out someone because you don't think they are being honest. You may run in to that person one day.

    Box Elder Muzzleloader

Appears I also made a mistake on my application. Drew Central Mountain Nebo muzzleloader deer. Not sure how I did that, but I did. I have zero knowledge of this unit. WTH!!!

Who's got a Wasatch Muzzy Bull Tag?

I took my GF who has the muzzy tag up last Sunday where I killed my archery bull 2 years ago. We hunted hard until Friday afternoon. Elk didn't want to cooperate much. Few bugles here and there but nothing too crazy. Couple of small rag horns could have been taken but nothing worth filling a...

    Wasatch bull elk muzzy

I killed a nice bull in 2020 archery and this year my GF drew the muzzy. I have done a lot of scouting over the past 3 years and have a few local friends that have hunted the Wasatch for many years. Just don't be afraid to move around until you find what you are looking for. 350 bulls are...

big bucks and bad weather ?

I'm pretty sure those deer were killed when Utah had a late general season muzzle hunt. I also believe they were hunting Chalk Creek area. Just so happens I drew the late muzzle tag this year and will be up in that area later today.

big bucks and bad weather ?

No I've been on MM for a few years but to reference all Utah Hunters as Utards is pretty childish. Seems SS just needs an attitude adjustment!

big bucks and bad weather ?

So you're saying all poachers are from Utah? Happens everywhere not just Utah. For you to say you are more ethical as a Sportsman just because you don't live in Utah is pretty damn ridiculous.

big bucks and bad weather ?

Like all Utards? So what state are you from SS?

UT Wasatch LE archery elk this year for me

It was tough! The high temps mixed with the smoke from surrounding fires made for a very difficult hunt. Wasn't seeing much at all, which I'm sure was due to the extreme temps. Things changed rapidly after the Sept. 8th storm rolled in. We didn't get the high winds but we did get snow and...

    Bulls are rutting

No but we all have a calendar and the hunt is ending on the 11th. I have been archery hunting elk for over 20 years and yes I have killed elk late August and early September but I have to agree with Ruger and just give archery hunters a few extra days in September. I don't think it would be...

    Bulls are rutting

Finally had a few smaller bulls coming in on cow calls. Only one rag horn that bugled. Nothing crazy. Not sure why Utah has to stick it to archery hunters and totally hand LE rifle hunters the middle of the rut. Maybe it's just a money thing! I'm sure we will get a least one day of some rut...

    Wasatch Archery

Thanks copple. I figure there is plenty of areas with the unit being as big as it is. As soon as I start doing a little scouting I'm sure I will find a good spot. As with my previous experience with limited entry archery elk, it really heats up after all the spike hunters are done.

    Wasatch Archery

I wasn't saying I'm hunting Chalk Creek this year. I was asking for information on the Wasatch Unit for camping during the Limited Archery Elk Hunk since I drew the tag. I was merely stating I have great private property to hunt in the Chalk Creek area but property is limited in acres so I'm...

    September onX Elite Membership Giveaway

So I have a question on property boundaries. Been using the onX Hunt app for a couple of years and love it. My question is this. I hunt mostly on private ground and the surrounding properties I have access to as well. The properties are relatively small but last evening I noticed a large...

    Hearing any bugles yet?

I have been hunting the Chalk Creek area and bulls are going crazy. Unfortunately they begin about an hour before dark in the evenings so you need to get on them quick before dark. Mornings have been the best for bugles and that to is limited. Heat really has them not wanting to come out of...
