    Oil change question

My new Tundra has a horizontal mount filter. I fill it before I drain the truck oil and by the time I am ready to install the new filter, all the oil is absorbed inside the filter. I use Mobile One and Toyota OEM filters.

Wow! You drive that thing cross-country on vacations? lol We bought a SxS in June of 2021 and have less than 400 miles on it today. I suppose we need to live a little more.😁

    Cheatgrass vs Mule Deer

Around where my place is in WY if I spray and end up with ANY bare dirt the Russian Thistle (tumbleweed) takes hold in the blink of an eye.

    This should get interesting

Not accurate. Wyoming sees about 6000 deer/elk deaths a year due to collisions with vehicles. Hunters kill about 28000 elk and 45000 deer annually.

    Haystack deer deaths

Well, non-profits are required to make their annual budgets public. It is no secret. Just do a little research in lieu of throwing out undocumented accusations. 89% year in and year out. That is their budget structure. Try going to a fund raiser or banquet and speaking with them... or call...

    Haystack deer deaths

Well, the banquets are their primary fund raising source for mule deer conservation. No banquets= no funding for projects. Eighty-nine percent of incoming funds for the MDF go directly to mule deer and blacktail deer conservation projects. Secondly, supplemental feeding of mule deer...

Pretty deep in regions here in WY, coupled with sub zero temps. This last storm dropped 8 feet of snow in the Snowies in three days. Where we are we have had snow cover for over three months and are only at 5K'.... and our snow season has yet to begin! Quite a few days of below zero temps the...

    Giant Wyoming Buck

Did that buck recently get mounted in WY? I was in a taxi shop a few weeks ago and saw one extremely similar. The shop owner said it was killed years ago. I actually went back to take a pic but it had been picked up by the owner.

potential World Record Typical Muley harvested (Wyoming)

Regardless. If someone shot a 220"+ muley congrats to him, even if it comes up shy of 227" after curing. I would give just about anything to kill one that breaks 180". Hopefully after all the bullying settles down we will see a pic of the buck and can admire it for what it is.

potential World Record Typical Muley harvested (Wyoming)

Supposedly only two people have pics. The buck was initially green scored 227" and some change IIRC. Guided hunt. Originally, the shooter didn't want publicity. A long story filled with controversy. Who knows what the real story is.

Antelope that have ran taste bad?

Mule deer and whitetail have lots of glands also... preorbital, tarsal, metatarsal, etc. All wild hoofed animals have glands, as do most mammals. I actually find the scent of a pronghorn buck less offensive than buck deer or an elk.

WY Crap Show Continued… MY BBD!!

    Area 33 Kaycee WY Access

So if the numbers are down the past two years, how will numbers be on the rise already? Food for thought. It takes several good years for rebound. There were at least some fawns this year. Many does did not fawn last year from what we saw. And we did get more moisture than the previous two years.

Shouldn't Elk Mountain Ranch be held liable for unlawfully violating Hunting Activity?

I don't know what THEIR definition of overgrazing is, but there most definitely is over grazing on BLM lands when it is grazed down to dirt and the once prevalent wildlife have moved on to "greener pastures". It is not unusual here... more or less the norm. I have had great hunting areas...
