The unit in Wyoming that I will be archery hunting this fall is scheduled to have a prescribed burn two weeks before I get there. Does anyone have any experience on how long it will take the elk to get back into that area after the burn? The biologist claims it will happen in a matter of 3 or 4...

I'm real sure that I can draw an archery tag for these units or else I could wait another year and hunt the Central Mountains Manti unit or Cache North with a muzzleloader. Is it a tough call for you guys too if you were me? Looking for a solid chance at a 350+ bull. Thanks for any input!

I've got three points as a nonresident for Kansas and would really like to get in on a high quality trophy deer hunt (W.T. or M.D.) I can do archery, muzzle or rifle but am not sure of the better areas or outfitters (or better yet, DIY). 150" W.T. minimum - 180" M.D. minimum. Thanks for any hints.

How long have you successful guys been putting in? It's been 6 years of no for me for once in a lifetime Oryx.

If I have two identical bows set at 70 pounds but one has 60-70# limbs and the other has 70-80# limbs will one shoot better? Is there better efficiency if the limbs are cranked down or out? Or doesn't it matter?

Having a chance at a truly trophy ram is one of my greatest dreams but price is the problem. However, I would like to apply for a limited tag area that has really low odds of drawing and if I did draw I could justify the price better to my wife. What draw areas have the biggest rams? Thanks.
