I like to use the "Six Pack Carry'. Keep a cold six pack in a cooler in your truck. After you kill your elk, hike out to the truck, wave the 6 pack at any passing trucks. They'll stop, drag out your elk, and you pay them with the Six Pack. Easy🤣

no the points are totaled, divided by number of hunters, rounded off as necessary. I think wweaver79 meant that if, for example, someone had 20 points, with your 24, would go to 22, so you'd both be in max pool.

I used a cow talker to take my first elk. Squealed real loud, the herd stopped, One of our group fired, dead elk. I called again, they stopped again, shot a cow elk, then called a third time. The elk stopped again. Another of our group shot, three dead elk!

A guy I know from works put in for management hunts for himself and his wife. His wife got the call. Once called, you have to go buy the tag. The list of management hunts is max allowed by state, so Game and Fish can use these extra tags to control animal populations. They may or may not issue...

I was just up there Oct.6-10. Warm days, cool nights. I took my grandson up for junior turkey hunt. Saw three forkies, near the recent burn, lots of does. We were north of the 212 road. Weren't really looking for deer, but the deer we saw were in that area. Sadly no turkey this hunt?

You live in N.W. Valley, near Wickenburg, right? There are pretty good javelina units in your area, 20C, 20B. Like others said, find permanent water, scout out no more than a mile, find the javelina. Good luck.

You need to have an Arizona ID (driver's license or ID card) with your permanent residence address (no PO box), to carry concealed. A CCW permit allows one to carry more places, but is not required.

Y'all are right! Arizona's draw is too complicated, expensive, and time consuming. Better to put in for hunting in other states, leave the Arizona draw to us residents ?!
