065 Deer

Less then a week before we leave for pops deer hunt-he is starting to get excited.Anyone been in the area?

Been out and about a little. Not real promising, not like it used to be

ive been out fishing the river the last few years, and man... seen some smokers, they come down and go back up into those steep rocky canyons with the juniper/pinion mix, thats only 3 or 4 deer though.. in 2 years, of course your probably better off in "normal" areas.

Thanks for the update.Hard to scout being so far away and my work schedule but we have a week and he isnt real picky-so i will carry his ammoMy dad got a real nice one tens years ago and I saw one on my antelope hunt that was a shooter-so hopeful.He is in his real late 70"s so looking forward to a fun time.
