My trail cam showed they were using the wallow, I knew I had a 100% chance of filling my trophy Dusky Grouse tag if I could just control my cough. I watched a big one come in today but I shot his head off ruining my chance at a record book grouse and ruining my 26 point hunt. An afternoon in unit 61 can be like that for a loser like me. Nuff said.

The bullet plugged up the severed neck so there wasn’t a blood trail. I had to use my superior field skills to find him.

It was my old climber, I had ordered a new ladder stand but the delivery driver caught a virus and was unable to get it to me on time ruining my hunt. I could have beetch slapped the soccer Mom who gave it to him.

The joke is I was up Scouting with FrontRange in 61 and a grouse committed suicide by ramming my atv on Divide Road. Tim thought it was on purpose. Actually, I swerved and missed the first bird but got the second.
